Information we collect

DealHarbor collects two kinds of information. The first is information you provide voluntarily — your name, email address, and optional phone number when you subscribe to our weekly email or submit the contact form, and any details you include in a free-text message to our editors. The second is information collected automatically — standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, referring page, page requested, timestamp), cookies, and advertising identifiers used by our advertising partners to serve ads.

How we use information

Voluntary information is used to deliver the email subscription you requested, respond to your contact submission, or fulfill the specific request you made (such as a free travel consultation). We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties. Automatic information is used to operate and secure the site, debug performance issues, measure aggregate traffic, and serve relevant advertising. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer; clicking it removes your address from our list within 24 hours.

Data retention

Server logs are retained for 90 days, then automatically purged. Email subscriber records are retained as long as your subscription is active and for 30 days after you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for one year so we can reference prior conversations if you reach out again. You can request deletion of your data at any time by writing to us via the contact form.

Children's privacy

DealHarbor is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and the right to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the site and, for active email subscribers, via email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
